Impressing a girl is probably one of the most petrifying things for a guy especially if he does not know ANYTHING about the girl. The only time you can actually see a guy put in heart, soul and lots of effort is when he is trying to get the chic he thinks he is in love with! The nascent stages are the most difficult- You know… breaking the ice, making friends with her close pals, dressing impressively and last but not the least spending money on chocolates, flowers, gifts and so on. This is a tribute to all the guys who are going through this trauma at this very moment. **SLOW CLAPS**1.) Being unsure about her likes and dislikes and having to figure it out yourself. SOMEHOW!
Whether you know the girl or have no clue about her; understanding a girl’s likes and dislikes just isn’t a guy’s forte. Let’s admit it boys! Anyway, when it comes impressing a girl guys find it extremely difficult to figure it all out. Problem? BIG PROBLEM!!!
2.) Dealing with the fear of whether she has an elder brother who is into weight training and body building.
You know you want that girl; but you also know that you do not want a black eye from her brother. The fear of whether she does have an elder brother and even worse if he’s into body building at times leaves guys restless. In some cases, sleepless!
3.) Mingling with and spending money on her annoying friends just to win her heart.
The way to a girl’s heart is through her closest friends; not always… but most of the times. So even though you hate her bunch of high pitched, creepy friends; you know what you’ve got to do. Sacrifice! Sacrifice yourself and work towards befriending them if she is definitely what you want.
4.) Spending hours and hours trying to figure the perfect excuse to call and meet her.
It’s difficult to get a girl to come out with you, especially if she isn’t really fond of you. In such a case, your only breakthrough is using excuses. WARNING: Thinking of creative yet genuine sounding excuses could take away your entire day; sometimes, even night.
5.) Worrying about dressing in shirts and denims when from the bottom of your heart you are a shorts and ganji guy.
Yes! So you have finally managed to get her to go out with you for a coffee, but then yet another problem is thrown your way. What to wear?! Even though you love your ganji and shorts beyond bounds, impressing her in a pair of ‘Spongebob’ shorts just isn’t enough to make the cut. And there you are back into the rut of how to dress?
6.) Going through the painful moments of ditching your friends for her thinking… “Today might just be my lucky day!” #badluck
Your friends were your lifeline for the longest time ever and now this one chic has your entire game turned upside down. Just because you have an intuition that today will be your lucky day when she will understand your motive; you lie and ditch your friends hoping for the best to happen from her end.
7.) In the midst of all this commotion and constant spending to impress her; your own finance goes for a toss. #nomoneyhoney
Took her friends out for some drinks, took her out for coffee, spent some money on flowers and a small memento so that she can look at it and always think of you. What you didn’t pay heed to is your own finance. Now your back balance screams ‘POOR’ and you haven’t even managed to tell her how you feel. #pity you
