There are a few traits that all the successful people share. They might seem counterintuitive, but in fact these characteristics appear to be the prerequisites of the outstanding results.

Successful People Are Not Too Realistic. If they had been too skeptical and realistic while considering each and every idea that comes to their mind, there would not have been a half of all the great inventions we have today. They Spend Much Time Alone. The successful people know that the work gets done not in the noisy office. It not gets done during the endless meetings either. They know that they can become insanely productive only when they shut the door, put all the devices on airplane mode and enjoy the silence. Every single day they devote a few hours to staying in the alone zone. This is a time and place where genius ideas are born, the most important decisions are made and valuable tasks are completed.

They Say No As Often As Possible. When it comes to committing to a new project or adding a new feature to the product, successful people are likely to opt out. It is impossible to be everywhere and do everything. Success is all about focus. It is about saying No to things that do not matter. And if a new commitment is not a perfect fit for the current objectives and requires too much time, it won’t appear on the road map of the successful man.

They Never Whine. Successful people are not addicted to the permanent luck and wins. As well as other people, they also have downturns in their productivity and sometimes they do not achieve the goals they set. Nonetheless, despite some failures, they continue to work hard and do their best to get back on track instead of whining and complaining. There is not point in bemoaning the mistakes and trying to blame someone for them. Instead, successful people keep moving towards the desired aspirations no matter what obstacles they are supposed to face.

Successful People Are Observant. The world consists of details. There are tons of ideas, examples, mistakes and wisdom. Successful people pay attention to each of them. They stay in the constant learning mode and try to expand their knowledge while simply staying observant. This is the trait that allows them to reap huge rewards for the hard work they do because the ability to see something that others don’t is a key to being the best at what you do.
